We are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Glow Run 5K Fundraiser! Bring your family and friends out for a night of glowing fun and games ! No matter your skill level, come out and walk, run or stroll across the finish line decked out in glow gear. All proceeds go to the Okinawa Chapter NNOA Academic & Leadership Scholarship!


Registration:

Select your registration type: General Admission, Kids 10 and under, Donation or Volunteer 
Racers will need to select their appropriate shirt size during registration
Registration is free for all children 10 and under; T-shirt must be purchased seperately for this registration type.
Can't run the race? Donate to the Scholarship Fund and join us in the "Party Zone"!
Volunteers can sign up by selecting the "Volunteer" registration 




Check-In: 

Bring printed tickets for each member that is registered OR pull up the ticket purchase on Eventbrite's app,
Early race packet pick up will be announced 
Check-In the day of the race will take place from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
Race begins at 7:30 p.m.



 FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is open to all SOFA status. If you have a local friend who wants to attend, they are more than welcome to but it is the responsibility of the SOFA status member to sign them on base and adhere to the responsibilities of escorting a local national on base. This event is not an open-base event.
What size T-shirt should I select?

What will happen in the event of inclement weather?
The show will go on! We will monitor the weather until the date of the race. The event will happen, rain or shine, and will only be cancelled if lighting or other hazardous weather is immenent. 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Participants can park in the parking lots in the vicinity of the registraion area and in the parking lot of the old Naval hospital. 
What can/can't I bring into the event?
OK to bring: Strollers, bikes, scooters, skateboards. Make sure you or your child has proper PPE.
NOT Ok to bring: Puppies, doggies, kittens, turtles, giraffes, lobsters, or animals of any kind. Thanks for understanding. It's also NOT ok to smoke cigarettes/cigars/vape at this event.

What's the refund policy?
Unfortunately we are not able to grant refunds for this event. If life happens and you aren't able to attend, we thank you for your donation and you can schedule a time and date to pick up your registration packet at nnoaokinawa@
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes. We understand TDY's, deployments, and life in general happens and we'd be happy to let you give your ticket(s) to a friend. Please email nnoaokinawa@ later than March 22nd with the name of the person(s) you are transferring your ticket(s) to.

When do I need to register by in order to guarantee I get my T-shirt prior to race day?
Online registrations must be received by March 10th, 2019 in order to guarantee a T-shirt prior to the race. T-shirts will be available for pick-up starting a week before the race, at a designated location, or on race day when checking in at the registration tent. 
Participants who register after March 10th, 2019 and do not receive their T-shirts by or at the race day check-in, can pick up their T-shirts at a location and date (TBD) after the race.
